The Workplace & Employee Experience Manager will enhance each of our team member’s experiences while working at Our Place and aims to energize the team by infusing the Our Place brand into every touch point. This individual will be responsible for bringing the Our Place brand, as well as our inclusive values to life.
This person will report directly to the Associate Director of People Operations. If you have exceptional communication and organizational skills, have managed large budgets, and can proactively recognize issues to promptly solve problems - we’d love to hear from you! Success in this role will require the ultimate level of flexibility to pivot back and forth between priorities without letting small initiatives slip through the cracks. This position will be required to work out of our office based in Culver City, CA for 5 days a week.

Office & Administrative Responsibilities

  • Assure the office is well-maintained. Keeping everything tidy, replenished, stocked with necessities and making our office space feel like a home
  • Receive and disburse all mail sent to the office within a timely manner
  • Manage office security and technology to assure it is always working properly
  • Responsible for maintaining corporate accounts as relates to office management (i.e. business cards, UPS, courier services, and general vendors including but not limited to; Google, Dropbox, CDW, Apple, Breeze IT, and hotel partners)
  • Main point of contact for all janitorial operations, facility maintenance, and property management.
  • Circulate relevant office-wide communications clearly and effectively
  • Continue to iterate on current office policies and procedures for max efficiency

Cross-functional support Responsibilities

  • Administrative assistance to the Founders on an as needed basis
  • Manage Product and Marketing storage needs to assure the shared office space is always useable
  • Support the People Team with onboarding equipment logistics for all new hires
  • Assisting with a potential office relocation project estimated for late 2024

Events & Experience Responsibilities

  • Infuse diversity, inclusion, and belonging seamlessly into your day to day work
  • Plan and coordinate all internal team events including but not limited to; the Annual Our Place company retreat, dinners, lunches, happy hours, team offsites, cooking classes, and any other events on an as needed basis
  • Responsible for maintaining the company wide event calendar to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain a planning spreadsheet of events with clear details and budgets for stakeholder transparency
