Job Summary

Naadam is seeking a strategic, creatively fluent and highly organized Director of Brand Marketing to lead brand marketing and go-to-market strategy. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this role will own upper-funnel channels—including PR, influencer marketing, organic social, strategic partnerships, licensing, and collaborations—with a focus on driving awareness and interest amongst new customers.

This leader will oversee integrated campaign development from strategy through execution, ensuring brand and product stories are brought to market through cohesive, measurable marketing programs. Working closely with Creative, Growth Marketing, Lifecycle, E-commerce, Merchandising, and Planning, this leader will drive alignment across cross-functional and marketing teams, identify innovative, white-space opportunities to break-through in the marketplace, and deliver marketing initiatives that strengthen both brand equity and help improve down-funnel performance.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Channel Ownership

  • Lead strategy and execution for PR, organic social, influencer marketing and emerging awareness & traffic channels — with a test-and-learn mindset and a bias toward measurable impact.
  • Plan, develop and execute 360 brand and product campaigns that amplify key moments throughout the year, delivering on awareness and traffic goals.
  • Drive new customer reach and acquisition through innovative licensing deals, partnerships, and collaboration — structured and sequenced to maximize brand reach, cultural relevance, and new customer volume.

Go-to-Market & Integrated Campaign Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end campaign development and execution — from strategic brief to 360-degree market launch — in close collaboration with Creative, Performance, Lifecycle, and E-commerce teams.
  • Architect overarching message hierarchies for brand and product campaigns, ensuring proof points, product storytelling, and emotional brand narrative are integrated consistently across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Own and manage the integrated marketing calendar, driving alignment across product launches, seasonal stories, promotional moments, and partnership activations.
  • Author and oversee marketing briefs that unite creative direction, channel strategy, and business objectives — and ensure cross-functional teams are activated with clarity and purpose.
  • Build and optimize scalable marketing processes, leveraging AI tools to improve brief quality, creative speed, and cross-functional collaboration.

Partnerships, Licensing & Collaboration

  • Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic brand partnerships, licensing agreements, and collaborative product launches that expand Naadam's reach and accelerate customer acquisition.
  • Evaluate partnership opportunities through a dual lens of brand fit and acquisition impact — prioritizing deals that bring measurable new audience exposure and conversion potential.
  • Manage partner relationships end-to-end, from deal structuring and creative co-development to campaign execution, performance tracking, and renewal decisions.

Customer & Competitive Intelligence

  • Maintain an active and rigorous understanding of the competitive landscape, emerging marketing trends, and cultural moments to continuously identify white space opportunities.
  • Partner with the Lifecycle team to develop a deep, data-informed understanding of the Naadam customer — their behaviors, motivations, cultural interests, and purchase drivers — to sharpen acquisition strategy.
  • Leverage AI and emerging technology to expand organic reach, improve content discoverability, and drive unpaid channel performance.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Executive Visibility

  • Serve as a key connector across Creative, Performance, Lifecycle, E-commerce, Merchandising, and Planning — driving shared context, aligned execution, and cohesive brand storytelling.
  • Prepare and present performance updates, campaign recaps, and strategic growth plans to Naadam's VP of Marketing and senior leadership on a regular basis.
  • Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, creativity, and data-driven decision-making.

Skills

  • Proven track record of owning and launching 360 marketing campaigns with expertise in key awareness channels — PR, organic social, influencer marketing, partnerships, or licensing.
  • Deep expertise in go-to-market strategy, integrated campaign planning, and cross-channel execution for a DTC or e-commerce business.
  • Familiarity with Asana or similar marketing and project management tools preferred.
  • Exceptional communicator — able to translate complexity into clarity and rally creative, channel, and business stakeholders around a unified strategy.
  • Experience managing and developing marketing teams, with strong cross-functional leadership and influence skills.
  • Hands-on experience managing brand partnerships, licensing agreements, and collaboration deals from ideation through execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to set and deliver against data-backed KPIs, translating campaign performance into strategic decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA a plus.
  • 8–10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3–4 years in an integrated marketing or brand marketing.
  • Experience in DTC, e-commerce, fashion, luxury, or premium consumer brands strongly preferred.

  • Health Insurance
  • 401k Plan
