About Us

Have you ever wondered why we rely on harmful chemicals and artificial ingredients to maintain our body’s health? We have. After years of battling on-and-off tonsillitis, our founder Carly Stein finally found relief in an ingredient called propolis: a combination of tree and plant resin created by bees to protect the hive. We aren’t just creating cleaner alternatives to the traditional medicine cabinet; we’re creating all-around cleaner products. Period. We merge modern science with natural medicine to prove that clean medicine can actually work. We believe that today’s most common health problems can be solved with better-for-you ingredients found right in nature. We source the highest-quality, humane ingredients, and we never water them down with artificial extras. We care about the world around us and the people in it. It’s what drives our entire brand. We don’t just care because it’s cool; it's our genuine belief that our products empower you to take your health into your own hands. We’re all better human beings when we feel our best, right?

About the Role

BKN is looking for a bee-loving, detail-obsessed Logistics Coordinator to help our growing supply chain run smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be the right hand to our Senior Manager of Logistics and Warehousing, making sure goods flow seamlessly across borders and through our partners, while also helping us improve how we do things every day. Beyond just managing shipments, you’ll bring fresh ideas to make our logistics smarter, faster, and more cost-effective.

This role is all about balancing execution with growth: you’ll coordinate shipments and customs documentation, partner with brokers for cross-border moves, track inventory across the network, approve invoices for accuracy, and help us build better systems to support our expanding business.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Shipment Coordination & Tracking

  • Coordinate, manage, and track shipments across the supply chain, including international and cross-border moves.
  • Work directly with brokers and carriers to ensure smooth customs clearance and timely delivery.
  • Schedule pickups, create shipping/customs documents, packing slips, and ensure compliance with all requirements.

Inventory & Documentation

  • Track inventory and raw materials across the supply chain, including inbound to co-manufacturers.
  • Receive and reconcile goods in NetSuite, building and maintaining a proper receiving loop with vendors, co-manufacturers, and 3PL partners.
  • Communicate discrepancies promptly to vendors and internal stakeholders.

Process & Continuous Improvement

  • Pull, build, and analyze logistics reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with the Senior Manager, Logistics and Warehousing to implement process improvements, enhance visibility, and strengthen reporting.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives through carrier optimization, invoice accuracy checks, and better planning.

Financial Accuracy & Partner Management

  • Review and approve freight and brokerage invoices, ensuring accuracy and alignment with budgets.
  • Support forecasting and budgeting efforts by providing data-driven insights.
  • Build strong relationships with brokers, carriers, and co-manufacturers to foster collaboration and growth.

Job Requirements

  • 2–3+ years’ experience in a logistics role, preferably with exposure to international/cross-border trade.
  • Solid understanding of USMCA, HS codes, and customs documentation.
  • Experience working with brokers and managing cross-border shipments.
  • Strong analytical skills; able to use reports/data to improve logistics performance.
  • Highly organized, able to track multiple processes independently under tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel in particular); NetSuite experience is an asset.
  • Customer service mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience approving/reconciling logistics invoices is a plus.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • Equity in the organization
  • Access to a RRSP plan with match
